Footnote.com

Have you ever visited Footnote.com? This is free site and I was amazed. It is a social networking site built all around American History. You can view documents and photos such as the Gettysburg address and many more original documents and photos and then you can comment on them or add to them. The amount of information available at this site about American History is incredible. If you are a History Librarian or even at a public library, this would be a great site to feature a small class on. I’m sure not many people are aware of it but it is a fascinating site and a different kind of social networking.
