Have you considered creating a specialized search engine with the urls of your website and all of the other websites that you recommend to patrons or link to from your main webpage? I have tried this using a few programs including creating a swiki but I did not like it as much. I recommend you use Rollyo to do this. With Rollyo you can create several mini search engines and each one searches only the sites you recommend. They also offer you the possibility of creating a search engine that will search only the websites in categories you recommend such as reference or health. You can then put the code for this search engine on your library website or blog. This is great because it allows you to offer your patrons suggested or controlled web searching on various topics.
